The Capillary EX Column Connection Kit is a dedicated connection kit that fully demonstrates the performance of inert-sill capillary EX columns. Use the column coupler provided to attach it directly to your own injector. The column coupler is used to connect the injector to the column.

How to Connect Capillary EX Column Kit

Step 1: The column coupler is used to connect the injector to the column. In doing so, press the system to prevent dead volumes.
Step 2: The capillary tube connector is used to connect the column to the detector. One side (entrance side) 1/16 inch PTFE tubing is attached, so connect to the exit of the column using a male nut and a ferrule.
Step 3: The exit side of the capillary tube connector is a capillary tube with an outer diameter of 375 μm and can be connected to the detector using a PTFE tubing. (Insert the tube into the PTFE tubing as in following Example and seal the two ends of the capillary tube together.)
